Right now I have an Eris, my incredible gets here next week hopefully...

What I wanna know is this:

Can I get audio alerts from navigator while in the vibrate profile? I drive a lot, listening to Pandora and nav running but I don't want txt and emails interrupting my music, and I still want turn by turn notifications...

Before the 2.1 update on my Eris this was possible. Now if my phone is in vibrate mode my navigator is muted. If I turn navigation volume up it comes out of vibrate mode.

If you try this scenario on your incredible ill give you a cookie!

Nav is muted in vibe mode on the Inc as well.

Nav is muted by default in vibrate mode. Hitting the menu button then hitting "Unmute" will enable the Nav voice but still keep other notifications muted.

How about turning off notifications for your Messages & Mail apps, will that work for you?

Thanks, this is what I've been looking for. I've only used the volume button or the unmute icon on the screen. I'll give it a shot.
