Kinda got stuck with this phone

Upgraded phone back to android from apple(thank god) The v40 was on special, went in today to get it. Salesman said that special expired, now you get the g7. Is this phone going to be good, considering i was expecting the v40 and I've never had an lg phone before?

Meh I'd still get the V40. No IPS display for me. 3000 MAh battery in G7 is lacking.

Having not owned a V40 so I can't compare to that. I can tell you I came from an AMOLED display in my Moto Z force and I feel this LCD display is every bit as nice. The battery life isn't great but isn't bad either. In standby it sips battery and I can usually get a full days use. Other wise it's hardware is very similar to the V40 so I don't see longevity as an issue.

Im liking it so far, didnt know lg made a good phone. It séems quick, responsive, battery i have to tweak a bit but otherwise I'm loving it so far

I haven't had any compaints, but probably would bought a V40 if it didn't cost twice as much. Now that I have the G7 I really like the smaller form factor

Same here. When I 1st got it I was like well I'm gonna squint to see, but after a day I'm actually used to it. Now I just have to find manual to see what all I can do with it

I've had several Samsung Galaxy flagship phones and I could say that hands down the G7 is better than any Sammy phone out there. 7 months later the battery still excellent and it's still as responsive as the day I took it out of the box. this phone just works!

The LG G7 ThinQ is a really good phone! It is a little overshadowed by the V40 but it's an excellent phone in its own right; with a good display, really awesome form factor, and extremely good standby time. My husband has the G7 ThinQ and does a lot of gaming. His battery can last a while with heavy use; but what really impresses me with his battery is the standby time; and then the charging speed. LG makes great phones. I'm keeping an eye on the upcoming G-series phones!
