Kindle not working!

OK, my Kindle book reader is now not working. I launch it, the spinner comes up on the splash screen, and then it crashes back to the OS. I have rebooted, cleared the caches, and uninstalled the updates (since you cannot uninstall the app - thanks, HTC/Verizon) and nothing matters. Even the stock app crashes. Suggestions? The phone is not rooted.

I was having the same problem. Turns out I had too many Kindle devices on my account. I deregisterd a bunch of them, and the app started working again.
