Been dealing with this since April 11th 2014. I'm so mad that att galaxy s4 got the 4.4.4 but the galaxy s5 still is on 4.4.2.

Press the graph and you'll get another screen. We need to see that one. It's not 4.4.2 itself - my Note 3 is still on 4.4.2 and I'm still getting over 2 days with minimal usage, at least a whole day with normal usage. (A weak 2G signal can kill your battery quickly, so can a few other things, which is why we need to see the next page.)

I tend to have pretty good battery life on my S5 on KitKat. Especially on standby. My you have a rogue app that keeps waking the phone up or excessively syncing in the background. Check your apps

You have a rogue app eating up the power, there is nothing inherent in the S5 to use that much power.

This is an example of an S5 that has been idling for almost 9 days, and it still has 37% battery.
This is my wife's phone, it is only used to talk to our kids.

Yours is so much better bc Verizon sent out kitkat 4.4.4, att s5 is still on 4.4.2. The galaxy S4 on att has 4.4.4, and it used to have the same problem before when it ran 4.4.2

Ah, but when my phone had 4.4.2 on it, I still got this kind of battery life........

Because I use MacroDroid to control the internet.

Stop the internet, and you will stop the battery mongering social apps.

Here is my phone's typical battery screenshot.... I use my phone a lot, it is not just idle setting on the table like my wife's is.

I also have S5 on at&t and my battery drain is nowhere near that bad. Seems you have some rogue app running and hurting standby drain. Your screen also shows some GPS activities awaking phone. I normally put location setting in power saving mode and switch to high accuracy only for maps, navigation.

How do I find out what app is draining it? It doesn't show up in the battery statistics

Do y'all ever clean up the history on your phones. And go into google or google chrome and pull down where it shows a where all you have been and delete that.
And clean up your deleted mail.
