KitKat Theme Question

Hello! I have a Moto G (european edition) and have updated to Kitkat a few days ago. There were some changes but for instance I do not have different icons nor did I get the theme (wallpapers)
My question is...did the theme only come with the nexus phones or am I having issues with the update?
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer!

Wallpapers are likely different from Nexus devices but icons should be the same unless Motorola customized them.
