Anyone read anything anywhere about getting some of the items on the "KNOWN LIST OF ISSUES" getting fixed anytime soon? The phone's been out for almost 2 months and nothing from Samsung or VZ about any software releases. Will this be part of the OTA upgrade to FROYO sometime in Nov?

There was a fix that went out since the known lssue list was release and or leaked, what ever the most recent OTA update was. Only a few minor fixes. I believe the major items will be fixed with Froyo.

yeah -- i remember that OTA update, but that did squat! i really hope with the froyo roll out a lot of those issues are addressed... ESPECIALLY the GPS lock issue.

The GPS issue will be worked out in Froyo. But yes that update we got fixed some behind the scenes issues. The other Galaxy S devices got their GPS fix separate, mostly because they were released before the Fascinate. Since the Fascinate was released last and we are so close to Froyo it was more cost effecting to just include the GPS fix with the Froyo update on the Fascinate.
