Kyocera Rise won't data WITHOUT Wi-Fi

I have data left in my plan but the phone recently won't do anything 'online' without wifi access, browser, email, account info, nothing works. I tried cycling the airplane mode and turning off wifi; no luck there.
Appreciate the help.
