Are you going to get a regular mate 10 then? It's a deal breaker for me.
The dac is inside the dongle. So get a good dongle and you will get good sound. How is the DAC compared to the LG v-series? And will use of the dongle adversely affect the quality coming through the DAC? Or is it effectively the same as going through a headphone jack?
Dragonfly black or red are pretty compact but unfortunately you would still need to use a usb c to a adapter.Ah, I had no idea. Any recommendations for a quality DAC/dongle?
Oh that's cool to hear. The dac is inside the dongle. So get a good dongle and you will get good sound.

The Pixel and Razer Dongles have like 24bit DACs. I wonder if they work cross brands.Probably won't compare to the LG V series but I'm sure there awesome great dac dongles out there
Oh I wish they do !The Pixel and Razer Dongles have like 24bit DACs. I wonder if they work cross brands.
That would be awesome if they did. Maybe someone can try itThe Pixel and Razer Dongles have like 24bit DACs. I wonder if they work cross brands.
How is the sound quality with the adapter?I was concerned but now I have the handset, it's no issue at all. They include a set of USB-C headphones and an adapter, so I'm pretty covered.
It isn't a deal breaker but it is convenient when your Bluetooth set runs out of batteries.I won't be purchasing the Mate 10 line, but the lack of a headphone jack doesn't bother me too much - it wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me.
Is the lack of headphone jack on the Mate 10 pro a deal breaker?
