It might help but if you open up the developer options on your phone there is a tab called running services and that can sometimes be used to see what is running and what shouldn't be running

Norton app was a big lag problem for me Uninstalled. No further lag

Have to agree, Norton is a hog, as is most virus programs.
Honestly, the need for virus protection on your phone is not necessary, I don't care what anyone says. If you are smart, and don't go installing random unsafe APKs you will be fine

You see that on some system tools... mostly because people either don't know how to use it or they don't know how to interpret the information. But looking at the reviews, nearly 23K 5 and 4 star reviews vs 3500 1s and 2s.... An overall score of 4.2 with 28K reviews is pretty good.

As a follow-up, I followed the (rather simple) instructions on how to enable Wakelock Detector Free on my phone and it works as expected.

This app is one of the best ways to find out what is keeping your device awake when it should be sleeping - it'll allow you to see which apps are waking the CPU or screen, and how often that's happening.
