Lag on international whatsapp videocall

As in the title, in WhatsApp videocall is the lagging a problem?
Does someone can tell me his experience?

Is it all of your international calls that are lagging or just 1-2 contacts?
Are you using wifi or cell data?
Which two countries are involved?

I have never tried before. I use mobile data and it's between Italy and Chile.

Given that you are dealing with a trans-Atlantic cable, I would expect a little lag.
How much lag are you actually seeing?

I finally had my phone call. No problems with the video, while audio is lagged of about 2/3 seconds and this is not an issue
