I have found my Droid2 lags sometimes. I get to a screen or open my phone book and tap on what i thought was the contact and it dials another person. Anyone else have these issues?

No but I would suggest downloading an app called GO Contacts. It's a replacement Contacts and Dialer app which is really good. It's by the developers of GO Launcher Ex but you don't have to use GO Launcher Ex to use GO Contacts.

And while I'm on the subject GO SMS Pro and GO Weather are really good apps to and you don't need to be using GO Launcher for either also. All are free apps. I actually don't use GO SMS Pro but only because I bought ChompSMS but if GO SMS Pro was out at the time I wouldn't have bothered paying for ChompSMS.

Anyway, just some thoughts. Hope it helps with your contact and dialing lag issues.

I would recommend installing a replacement home launcher. Try Launcherpro or GolauncherEx. They will eliminate most of your homescreen lag.

+1 for gosms pro as well

Yea, you're right. These launchers are super smooth. I say get launcher pro and upgrade it to plus. The widgets you get with the plus version make your android experience soooo much better. I'm surprised stock android hasn't had scrollable widgets yet. Although, I hear it will for Ice cream sandwich.

I have been contemplating LPP
Which widgets do you use most?

messaging, people, and facebook widget. Those three widgets are the single most reason why I can't go back to stock ever or use any other home launcher. I've tried to find replacement widgets in the market and there are some copies but they don't come close to the quality of LPP.
