Laggy launcher after a day post-AT&T jelly bean update

Hey folks,

Sorry if this has been posted already, but ever since the JB update on AT&T the launcher seems to be laggy/lose video acceleration after about a day. Even if I use another launcher, the same thing happens. The only way I've fixed it is by rebooting. Anyone else experiencing the same thing/know of a fix (besides rooting/putting a new ROM)?

What Launchers are you using, have you tried Nova?
Failing that, have you tried backing up your data & doing a Factory Reset? Usually a good idea after an OS update.

I used the stock, and also Atom. When I first updated, I also had other issues (like the pin protection didn't actually work), so I wiped the phone. The pin works now, but the launcher is still laggy after about a day. Weird thing - no other apps are laggy, or even other parts of the OS (e.g. settings, etc.).

Try doing a little manual app clearing, by bringing up the multi-tasking button and swiping away all your old apps. I have always thought the multi-tasking was pretty crummy on our Sense.

At least, try swiping them away before rebooting the next time you notice the problem.

Already did that, as well as used the task manager to kill apps...makes no difference. Very frustrating...HTC support has been useless as well
