Lame question - Odin - Android M

Since I am a beginner in the android update game I have one question that is maybe kinda dumb.
I have note 4 910C and it wont OTA update to android M. I am downloading android M official for samsung 910C on my pc right now and the instructions say that I will need odin.
My question is will odin trigger knox counter?

I've heard some users who've used Odin to flash official firmware, end up tripping Knox.

What variant of the 910C do you have? I've got the UAE version and was able to receive the OTA update through AT&T
