So I have been fooling around the laptop dock for a couple days now...
It is slower than any laptop I currently have and even though I rooted my new Atrix phone and setup wifi hotspot on it, the connection to the internet is pretty bad because it is also slowed down by the phone a bit.
I can tether same phone to laptop and its 5x faster even surfing the web.
Maybe after they do a couple of updates to the phone I would consider picking up laptop dock again. Think the $499 price point is a stretch if they want us to keep them. try $299 and they would have a big hit on their hands.
I paid $799 for the xoom and it is an amazing device, so why pay $499 for a 11" screen for my phone?
