Last ICS leak really the OTA?

Did the last leak bring the global feature? Because I think that is suppose to come with the ICS OTA. If not, then you would think the leak isn't the final OTA.

i flashed the latest leak and no glolobal capability,but the leak is very stable,so my guess its very close to the ota version,i would say its coming very soon...fingers crossed

On the htc page that announced the ota and was then taken down said it was. That is all we know for sure. If global is suppose to be included then it is not.

The global feature came with the Razr ICS update I believe, so it seems likely to come with the Rezound ICS update.

I have to agree....

This delay seems to be to include the addition of the Global feature....

It may also eliminate the 3g selection feature... I know there is a work around, but this was apart of the RAZOR ugrade to ICS...

Was the global feature included in any of the leaks for the Razr? I find it hard to swallow that they would throw it in there at the end. If it was coming with ICS, I would have thought it would be in there by now

In the lastest leak, the global options were in there, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't fully functional. Speaking of the Razr OTA, no average Joe has gotten it yet, so it's still in whatever testing cycle Moto is holding it to.

Soak/smoke test first then update. That's the norm with everyone except Apple.

Damn Verizon. Catch 22. Best Network, Bigest profit mongers......If I could still get unlimited on ATT, I might consider burying the hatchet from 12 years ago when they screwed me and I made the switch.

6.23.12 - DROID RAZR ICS Update Removes “3G Only” Option

For whatever reason, Verizon and Motorola have removed the option under Mobile Network Settings to switch to “CDMA Only” in the Ice Cream Sandwich update that is headed to RAZRs over the next few days.

Certainly they can't eliminate 3G completely... But some users chose to lock the phone to a CDMA (3G) only due to no 4G or poor coverage.

No this doesn't specify if this will be the same for the Rezound.... But it was set up as part of the "global" feature...

There is a workaround for the Razr... and it works on non-rooted phones...

So, it's a 50/50.... If Verizon is doing to Razr owners... So, one must assume we will see it also...

Wow, didn't know that, I am a version behind because of "it just works" syndrome. Well that explains why we won't see ics until mid-February......

There was miscommunication somewhere. My comment was about the global capability in the Razr. The Rez? I never tried ICS on it, so that I have 0 knowledge of. Sorry to break your heart accidentally, but the good news is, it's patched up and ready to be broken again if ICS doesn't arrive in 4 days. :-X

Oh ok, I thought as much and would have been pissed if they would be trying to shoehorn it in at this late of a date, but wouldn't put it past them as another "delay"
