I've been on Nexus and Pixels for years. Before that, i loved my Note 2. Any advise on setting up, differences, usage? My Note 20 Ultra should be here in Nov 4.

Great device best ever I went with the regular note for the smaller size good luck with your new note.

I have the not 20 ultra and love it. I'm a long time Note user. I would suggest cking out "Jimmy is promo " you tube channel, as he has some good tips. I just joined the beta program and am now running Android 11 on 1ui 3.0.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

Note 20 Ultra is light years ahead of the Note 2. You wouof be amazed. It's pricey yes. But it is awesome

Last Note I had was the 3, I jumped over to Apple and now I have the Note 20 Ultra and I really love it. It's smooth fast and easy. I love my battery life. Watch YouTube videos, there are plenty of reviews and how tos on the Ultra. Enjoy!

This is my first Note. Always had S series. I have the Ultra and it is a beast. After a few days of watching YouTube vids and getting it setup the way I want it I can't say enough good about this device.

I'm sure you'll love it once you have it for a day or two and figure out all the awesome stuff this does.

Download in galaxy store a app called Good Lock , lot more customization.

I used to have a Note 2 and currently have a Note 9. Still works great so waiting on upgrade now. Maybe when prices come down.

Take a look on YouTube as you'll find lots of unboxings , first impressions and then follow up indepth reviews on the N20 phones.

Lots of good tips on here and on various tech blogs too.

Enjoy your journey. :)

Wow..I still have my note 2, as a display for my wife's aquarium.. But that's another story..

Anyhow, your going to be shocked honestly! It goes without saying that the 20 in features alone is a completely different device. Like others have mentioned, watch as many videos as you can, and just tons of hands on time.

Right now, as far as I know Jimmy is probably the person that puts out the midst helpful little tips on both the devices, and software updates(including goodlock).

But that's my suggestion.. Welcome back though!

My first phone Note II. Got hooked on it having S-oen and can't fathom why almost no one else does.

They put 12GB RAM and let you run DeX, so it's a full PC/tablet in your hand.

I had trouble with batteries on the Note2 and had to say so long after a year.

Thank you for all the advice. I feel a lot more comfortable. I've read some blogs and watched some videos on tips and usage. I'm getting excited about getting a new phone!

I'mm currently on the pixel 5 and I can't say I'm excited about it. It's a solid, well working phone. Just nothing exciting and I like large screens.

The S-Pen is indispensable, which is why I've always used the Galaxy Note as my go to device since 2011. I currently use a Galaxy Note9. I use my S-Pen to jot down ideas, draw, make precise on screen selections (fat finger life), sign documents, extract specific content (smart select) and more. I stick to the Galaxy Note series because it's a "Jack of all trade device". Picture taking is great on the Note, video recording is also great. Calls (if you make those) sound great on the Note and the stereo speakers are loud and crisp. If you need to use a bigger screen like a computer monitor (I use this a lot when I travel), you can use DEX on your Galaxy Note. The Galaxy Note may not be the best at everything, but it comes really close in every metric. Unfortunately, Samsung seems to be bent on diluting the Galaxy Note line up, which is why I haven't upgraded my Galaxy Note9.

I pre-ordered my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G in Thailand the day Samsung online store listed it, and it was delivered on the Launch day. I had been delighted with my 2 year old Note 9, and had read everything about the Note 20 Ultra prior to the official launch, and decided I had to have one in Mystic Bronze.. It was lust at first sight!
The phone is fantastic..best Android phone I've ever used and I'm delighted with my purchase and the good deal I got from Samsung as a Preorder.
When I use it alongside my old Note 9, the 20 Ultra is so much better performance in every respect.. the cameras in particular are fantastic, and the 6.9" OLED 120hz screen is just fantastic, and the SPen is better than ever, and with many new useful features.
Wireless Dex is really useful for me, and there are so many other brilliant features, along with superb build quality, it's impossible to be anything other than truly delighted with my purchase!

This is my second note and previous was the Note 2.

$999 at Google Fi right now.

I purchased mine at Samsung for full price a week ago. Called them and asked if they would price match otherwise, because I'm within my return window, I would consider returning this phone. They couldn't. They only price match Best Buy and Amazon. However, they offered a 10% refund. Okay, it's the full discount, but I don't have to go through the process of a return.

Do you mean 10 percent is not the full discount?

I'm not sure I understand your question, but hope this clarifies. I purchased for $1299, plus tax, etc came to $1429 total. Samsung offered a 10% refund off the total, $142.

You'll absolutely fall in love with it. I still have a Note 3 and a 4 in service as well. Feels like going from an old computer to a gaming pc as far as speed.
