Android Central Question

Hi, I'm very confused as to what is the latest galaxy watch and when it is likely the new model will be released. I don't want to buy one only to find out there's a newer model about to come into the market. Thank you

I moved this to the Galaxy Watch forum for more specific traffic.

Latest is the one called Galaxy Watch released last year, there is one coming on the 20 February but I think it is more of a sports watch

Actually from this article it sounds like you'd want to get this years watch before they are gone and replaced with the new model... Smaller display and smaller battery ??????

Seriously glad I picked up one up at BB for $159.

Ignore me... I see you meant in comparison to the Gear Sport 2017, not in comparison to the Galaxy Watch...

Just a guess, but I reckon the new Galaxy Watch when they release it around August onwards won't have a rotating bezel either. One UI on the Note 9 (and now the "Galaxy Watch Active") emphasises swipes and gestures, so I bet they do the same thing. Maybe a touch sensitive bezel that you virtually turn around the edges of the case.

But I'm fond of the current Galaxy Watch rotating bezel. Gives the feel of a mechanical Diver's watch. It's nice hardware alongside all the tech.

Anyway, we'll see.

Coming from the Apple Watch i do like rotating bezel I must admit...not sure I would be be in a rush to upgrade to a new one without one.
