Recently updated Maps app (to v.9.26.1). The next time I used it, I encountered a chronic 'Searching for GPS' message. The map can find my desired target, & 'see' my location, and plot the route, but I get no audible feedback (making the functionality pretty much useless).

All help welcome.

Nexus 5 / Android 6.0.1 / 3.4.0-gd22e409 kernel (25-May)

Have you already tried clearing the Maps app cache/data?

Am getting the same 'Searching for GPS message on screen' and audible message saying 'GPS signal lost'

Am using Sony Z3C

Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone know a fix?

I do have that issue on my n5 but think it started before (a couple weeks) the last update. I've done a factory reset since but no change. Seems like a worsening of the n5 GPS issue. I had done the inside of back cover fix years ago. FWIW, Map My Walk + has no issue with GPS location so it could be Maps
Gonna try Waze for a while.

I've been having the exact same problem for the past two weeks on my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

Anybody found a solution yet?

I'm experiencing the same issue with an Alcatel One Touch Fierce. I need help traveling soon and I need my GPS. Thanks in advance for any help.
