This will be somewhat of a newbie/oldbie question.

Yes, I am using a dinosaur. The good ole Droid 1. I find myself in a situation where I need to use it for about a month. My software is at 2.2, build FRG22D, and I know there were factory releases and other non-supported releases that you can use on this machine. I tried searching on Verizon and Motorola's websites for the latest versions, but no success... too old and not supported any longer. My questions are:

- what is the latest version used with positive results?
- where can I find this software and how to install on my verizon droid?
- I did some searches on here, and didn't see anything. Is there one out there that already gives these answers?
