Latest update for S4 vs GE S4

So the latest update for the nonGE S4 (issued by Samsung) supposedly fixes the crackling audio issue.

Does anyone know if the GE ROM already has this fix or how they plan on fixing it on that phone?

2nd that. I just got done scouring Google Play for an audio enhancer/call volume booster - no luck. I have the same crackling complaint. One nice thing about the standard S4, is the in-call audio 'booster' button to give you a little extra volume on quite calls or 'low-talkers'. Cannot find this by way of app, but hope they add the option in future updates.

It depends on the carrier it seems... lot of the US ones have pushed it as an OTA update... some reports of them being released for the canadian version but only through Kies.. it seems to vary quite a lot.. that part of android drives me nuts.. with iphone if its out, its out for EVERYONE.
