Latest upgrade messed up S7

Hi. The latest upgrade has really ruined my Galaxy S7. I used to be able to drag and delete icons fine, but when I try to remove/trash them, the menu disappears. I've already gone through the developer options and set animation between 0.5-1.0, but there is no change. I didn't have this issue until the latest upgrade came through.

Animations don't really affect that, but if you set them to 0, the launcher will appear to run much faster.

Things change as Android changes. If you are trying to delete long press on the app icon but do not drag it. The long press opens a little menu with Select Items, Remove From Home Screen, Uninstall. Tap on what you need, don't try and drag the app.
