Latitude Real-time updates

I noticed tonight that Real-time updating isn't available in Latitude anymore. My OG Droid had it.

Was it removed in an update, or is it not supported by the Bionic or Gingerbread?

Nope, it's been removed. See this thread: Google Maps 5.10 for Android is here! - Google Mobile Help

Apparently it never worked correctly. I never noticed a problem with it, although I only used it a handful of times.
