Launch Date. Change In Your Plans?

Haven't seen this thread started yet.

So with an unexpected launch date on a workday has anybody rethought their plans?

Unless BB announces a Pre-order I'm going to have to do some mild camping and miss at least a morning of work.
If they do have the pre-order I won't have to do any camping at all. work is still up in the air .

And now a conspiracy theory. By launching on a Friday this give 3 days of sales to report on. That will make the total weekend sales figure higher that a Saturday launch and MUCH higher than on Sunday.
If this is the case then that means they'll be lots of inventory on hand.

I have a drinki.... gold tournament thursday so i may just stumble to the first store i see and camp out unless walmart gets it in at midnight like they do with games and such cause in that case i'll go there

Walmarts in my area don't do Sprint. it would be sweet to score one at midnight.

Have a buddy who works for Best Buy, Gave him my $50 bucks for the pre-order already. No need to camp, I'll just wait for the phone call telling me it's in.

I am my own boss, so, I am gonna head up to Best Buy to pre order mine as soon as I can, then on friday morning head on up there until I get mine.

1) Pre Order the Evo.
2) Pick up the Evo on launch day.
3) Sell my old Blackberry 8800 and Palm Pre back to Sprint. (they recycle)
5) Buy lots of accessories for the Evo.

Side note: Does anyone know if sprint will buy back the touchstone dock too? Or do they just buy back phones?

So besides the Friday launch and the Thursday pre-order my plans are the same.
Glad everything is situated now. whew! Bed time.

Going to pre order through Best Buy, and pick it up on Friday and learn everything about the EVO on that day and then sell my Blackberry 8330m to someone else. =]
