No one knows for sure - but the M8 was available same day with Verizon and within a couple of weeks with the rest. With two devices being revealed in less than a week, I would definitely wait until the official reveal.

Does your other phone still work? I'm holding on to my GS3 clunker until I'm in the position to choose one of the new flagships due out this spring.

I wouldn't purchase a phone so close to the release of the new models unless my current one was not functioning.

And even at that, I'd scramble for a used pos to tide me over for the few days. :)

Was going to use the tmobile jump but i dont think its worth it. I do have a droid mini work phone as a backup. Could also buy a cheap prepaid lumina for a few weeks. Might just return the g3 and pay the $50 restock and revert the upgrade. As i said it appears the m9 launch will be shortly after the announcment.

Ended up buying a desire 610 and unlocking it for tmob. Gonna return my g3 today and revert the upgrade.I'd rather finance the m9. Tbh the 610 isn't a bad backup device. Was only $140 at best buy.

Except for people looking for a 5”+ phone if the rumors are true... It's sad really. We shall just have to see if the rumors and "leaks" are true.

I think it will be. It might be available on the 1st through Verizon with other stores following in a 2-3 week period, that's if it follows what HTC did with the M8.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a dev edition available soon after the announcement. I'm not sure I can buy a carrier phone again. I enjoy the freedom to root and no bloat.

the m8 on both tmobile and at&t were rooted and unockable on day one, followed by s-off within a week. verizon on the other hand... the m9 will be no different.

id buy the dev edition too but the rumored $750 price tag will drive people away from it. id rather finance through tmobile.
