Launch Of New Galaxy Note 8

I think she meant today's age.

I know I was just giving a hard time. But look at the note 1 now. It's screen is pretty small now. That's really crazy too me, or the first evo or droid x. They all had huge screens and now they are tiny. Lol

Ahhh I remember those days. The EVO 4G was my first Android phone.

I'm really trying to ride this out. I'm still using the Note 4 Edge, with a cracked screen (really don't want to do the $200 deductible with insurance). I was eligible to upgrade around the time of the whole Note 7 debacle. Looked around and wasn't really a phone that I wanted - I love the Note line.

August/September feels so far away right now! :)

I had my Note 5 and was ready to sell it when I got my original Note 7 and boy am I glad I kept it - it bailed me out when I had to turn the Note 7 in. I used it while waiting for the "Replacement" Note 7 to arrive and then for a few weeks after I turned that in while trying to decide what to do next. I would have just stayed with it if I had never felt the beauty of the Note 7's battery life... I just couldn't go back to my Note 5 as a daily driver! I ended up getting an AT&T Galaxy S7 Active with a 4000 mAh battery, built like a tank and waterproofed pretty well too. Being an avid beach camper, it really fit the bill for me while waiting for the Note 8 to arrive... it's not a super Hi-Tech solution so "Come on August/September!" :-)

Plus the last thing Samsung should do is reduce the size of their top phone
Don't necessarily need to keep going larger though either... we still need to be able to hold the damned things with one hand too, right? :-)

I like the 5.7" size. Using an LG V20 at the present time and its a nice solid size

Yeah, the S7 Active is only 5.1 - took some getting used to after having the Note 7s, but again, it's just a stop gap 'til the Note 8 arrives! Hell, I hope I don't get too used to it!!! I should pop the SIM Card in the Note 5 for a week every now and then just to keep myself focused... HA!

I'm going with either s8 plus or note 8. Once s8's come out, hopefully the note 8 spec rumors will give me a better idea of what it will be. I really liked my note 7, thankfully no problems, it was hard to take it back, but anxious waiting to see what 2017 models will be

With small bezels top and bottom on S8, I would think Note 8 screen with similar small bezels will be around 6 inch easily.

I don't think they should make the phone any bigger. Just shrink top and bottom bezels and give us a bigger screen. Typing this from my Coral Blue S7 Edge waiting for Note 8.

August is a long way off.
Why not sooner.

Waiting sucks.

I want to say "Patience" but it's starting to wear on me too... I'm actually starting to get used to this little Galaxy S7 Active - and THAT is SCARY!

Although, there's something to be said for it's 4000 mAh battery:

NOTE: I must add - I am also running Greenify!

June would be awesome :D. Let's just hope it is not December.
I also hope that is not as late as December, but I don't hope it is as early as June.

I would like them to have time to be able to use the technology to embed the fingerprint sensor into the display, among a few other things:)
