I was interested to know who went into a Sprint store to pick up the Galaxy Nexus, and how was the turnout. Were people there looking for the Nexus? I'm sure there weren't lines around the corner, but curios anyway.

no lines. my Sprint Corporate Store had 2. i got #1 and didn't have to fight anyone for it. i probably could have bought #2 too. i was surprised.

it seems that the unwashed masses are only excited for iPhones, RAZRs, and Droids and do not get whipped up into a frenzy for Nexi.

Well, I went late to my local Sprint Store in Woodbridge, VA around 3:30 PM after an office retreat and they were sold out. Also the one near my home is also sold out. So either wait till later this week or decide to buy it on line. But is it worth it since it won't be supported in AOSP and prolly the Nexus S 4G ICS update fiasco again. :-\

ive said this before but i believe that Google wants the Nexus launches to be low key. they dont want to cannibalize their other hardware partners like HTC, Moto, LG, etc.

I went Sprint thinking I might return home with a new nexus. I thought the phone was nice, screen was not the size I was looking for. After playing with the galaxy note a month ago, I was thinking nexus might be slightly smaller.Turns out it was considerably smaller. I think there were 5-6 people checking it out while I was there. I'm not a fans boy for nexus, I was purely checking out a prospective phone choice for my next upgrade.

The guys over on xda got it to be supported on AOSP. The radios were an issue and the last I knew or read, they had it up and running .

I when to the sprint store around 3:30 to pick up some accessories and they said that they still had phones left.

In Ocala, FL they had 2 at sprint at opening. Guy in front of me got one, then me, and a few others came asking but were told to check later in the week. Best buy here also said next week. Weird, but whatever.

I bought it from the Brandon, fl sprint company owned store. There was no crowd for it. Pretty low key.

I was one on the list for my sprint store....still waiting! They got email on Saturday saying that their order was going to be late...refused to go to corp store as this store actually has a tech that can fix phones and not just reset them over and over!

Went to Best Buy at 10am and no one ran to mobile. They had none and knew nothing. Had to wait another hour for Sprint Corporate store to open. People waiting in parking lot and doors opened. I was first to ask about it and rep didn't even know if they had any. Demo wasn't even out yet, so she grabbed it and a new Nexus. They only had 4 and I was first and only to get it within that hour. Saw 3 Iphones go out during that time. Not much Fanfare for it.

corporate store closest to me only received 4 and had sold them when I called during lunch today.

I went to Sprint store yesterday at open, said they only got 4 in to sell. Glad I got the first one of the day!:D:thumbup:

I was the first at my store to get it (got there when they opened) it was another guy getting one when I was leaving
