Launcher Pro home screen icons

If anyone has any insight on changing Launcher Pro home screen icons I would greatly appreciate them sharing the info with us. I have read the manual on launcherpro.com and also reviewed the "intent" section on the Android dev page. Changing the icon shouldn't be so difficult but it has been thus far. Thank You!

I know if you long press on the icon in the "dock" area and chose change icon, custom icon, you can chose whatever out of your gallery. What I've done is troll the various forums for android phones and found some really cool icons. Also what you can do for the "desktop" area is use a app called "Desktop Visualizer" to change an icon for specific programs. There are different widget sizes as well that do the same thing. Some people use better cut, but Desktop Visualizer is free and works well with LauncherPro!! Good Luck!

How do you change the scrolling dock itself to one of the LP Icons. Have those downloaded as well as desktop visualizer. Have tried looking for a tutorial unsuccessful. New to android and didn't have so many options with my iphone which I know can't believe I has as long as I did. My X is awesome. Thanks you for any help!

if you want to change an icon on the desktop, delete the shortcut, long press to add to home screen, choose shortcuts, select applications, then the app u want, you will be prompted to edit shortcut. from there you can change the name and if you touch the icon you can change it to whatever you want. hope that helps.

You can search deviantART: where ART meets application! for icon packs. Download onto the sd card and to select, long press the icon you want to change > select custom icon > select icon on sd card.

I have changed my icons just by googling for images that I like, then sending those images to my phone and switching them by long press on the icon I want to change selecting custom icon and then changing it , totally free that way
