Launcher Pro still viable??

So I finally got around to messing around with Launcher Pro on my phone using the free version. So far I really like the amount of customization that can be done. I am just wondering if people still recommend buying it. The features in the Pro version seem like its worth the small price. And to anyone using it, are there updates that are pushed out? I hope so as I dont want to pay for something that gets forgotten about.

I haven't used launcher pro plus in a while. But I did purchase it and I like the lpp widgets that come with it. It's a nice app. I believe there are still updates regularly.

I am using adw ex at the moment because it performs a little better for me on the Inc2. Go launcher ex works pretty nice too.

Actually, there has not been an update to Launcher Pro in a long while. It's absolutely as a Pro customer.

I was looking at Go Launcher as well. I use their weather app and like it, and they seem to release updates adding new features, plus from what I can tell its free.

I would recommend adw ex, lpp, and go launcher ex. All nice. Give go launcher ex a try if you want. It is free. Just don't overuse its built in task killer.

Agree with Stang. LP hasn't been updated since May 2011. The Pro upgrade seems to only get you the widgets. So, if matching widgets is that important to you, get it. If not, pass. I bought the pro version since you can get some free themes for the widgets as well as for LPP. But, it crashed a lot so I uninstalled it and have been waiting for an update but nothing yet. I still have the pro key so I don't have to buy that again.

Go Laucher EX, gets updated almost weekly it seems like. I use GO SMS PRO and it's awesome. That also gets updated like weekly.

ADW is great too. They all do the same thing, just present it differently. The way they do it also is similar to each other. I paid for ADW EX. I've had no problems with ADW or GO Launcher.

I am using Sense right now though. It seems the widgets that I use the most(tweetcaster pro, calendar), seem to work best on Sense than the other launchers. The GO Launcher widgets available on the market(most free) are fine. They don't seem to update regularly or automatically even if you select it to do that.

I may go back to them later on after I see some updates.

My vote is for GO Launcher only because it's free and most of the add ons are free as well. The Dev team support for GO anything is just top notch.

Also if you are using adw or go launcher and want a nice set of free sense style widgets (feed,calendar,etc)...try android pro widgets on market.
