Launchers with 5.1.1

So in regards to launcher and battery usage..
I use the stock launcher because, well, because it just works ok.
But some think that other 3rd party launchers like Nova aren't as bad on battery as the stock with the new 5.1.1.
Can you tell a difference with 3rd party launchers being better on battery life than the stock launcher with 5.1.1?

I haven't noticed any difference in mine. I've had the Google now launcher on it for a few months now.
Its definitely smoother than the stock launcher plus I like having the Google now page to the left of the home screen.

I've had no problems with Nova Prime on either 5.0.1 or 5.1.1. Super smooth and responsive. Nova never even shows up on my battery usage unless I'm changing a bunch of settings all at once.

Action Pro 3. Never had any issues and since the update it's been running smooth as ever.
