Not really used launchers, anyone recommend one that has available themes similar to sense 5, want the font and slick look to fit in with the messaging app, email app, browser etc just don't really want their weather and clock at top of app draw, extra homepages, and a more customisable app draw. A way to launch blinkfeed would be awesome too. Cheers muchly :D

I'm not sure if blink feed works with other launchers besides htc's. But some good themeable launchers are apex and nova. I don't recommend go, even though it has lots of themes, it is a complete ram hog. You could also try adw launcher, it got an update a few months ago that brought it up to par with the other custom launchers.

BlinkFeed is an integral part of sense 5. I do not believe there is a way to launch blinkfeed with another launcher running.... Except with Buzz Launcher.

Buzz launcher, if I am not mistaken, allows you to add the buzz launcher homescreens to any other home screens you may have, so you can essentially run two types of homescreens with buzz launcher.

Either way, buzz launcher is a pretty heavy customization option as it replaces just about everything, but it is my favorite of all launchers I have tried. Very powerful and a regular consumer can use it well because it is all preset for them, whereas other launchers require a lot of time and customization for them to look cool.

Cheers for replies, I read blink feed can be set as a gesture, not found out how on next or nova. I can live without blinkfeed, want close to stock style more!
Can anyone recommend a theme ad well as launcher?

I know you've probably seen this from me before, Russ, but I love how Nova allows you to shrink app icons and add apps to the dock to have a scrollable dock. So handy.

I def read somewhere on here a trick to using blinkered on a launcher something about erasing all your screens in sense but blinkered and a shortcut to open it in sense treating it like a app,I'll search for the link and post if I find it

I have adw.ex launcher but the process is similar with most launchers.

The following will create a shortcut widget. Just tap and it'll bring you to blinkfeed, tap home when finished and you'll be back in your custom launcher

1. Long press home screen
2. Create a custom shortcut
3. Choose activities
4. Choose htc sense
5. Choose htc sense launcher
6. Name your shortcut

Done

If anyone has troubles with a specific launcher let me know. I'll install it and give you specific instructions

If your launcher doesn't support a shortcut to Sense, download Nova alongside your launcher of choice. Nova has a widget that will link to Sense.

If I were using one screen (that was full) I would move several similar items into a folder making the extra room needed

I've been using and configuring the One after it arrived a couple of days ago and I liked the stock launcher, specially its looks and the ability to search and custom organize your apps. I have read about Nova and Apex. Which one of these has looks or options to make look like the black-color-based stock launcher?

The only thing I don't like about the Sense 5 launcher is it's inability to support different grid sizes or hide the app/folder names on the screens.

Any recommendation about these two? Thanks!
