Launchers

OK so coming from a windows phone which is like being in a playpen with only one toy, and going to android, I thought I would start looking at launchers, does anyone have one they prefer (I know its a matter of taste) and why. I am also looking for an email app that pops up a number when you get a new email. Seems samsungs default does not work with novalauncher (the one I am playing around with) . Thanks All

Nova has been quite popular but Action seems to be gaining fans. Try several and pick the one you like and delete the rest.

Atom launcher. Heres an idea. Easy interface. I like it. Used it for 3 yrs now. Hidden features etc. Phone never lagged.
