When I bought this phone, company promised it will provide Lollipop update, but still waiting for it. I haven't rooted my phone for that purpose.

Unfortunately updates often times don't come as quickly as promised or as one would like. Have you reached out to the company to see if they have any plans to release an update for the device?

I’m really impressed by the display of Lava Iris X8 and its looks. Also, it has a long lasting battery life so I can use all my apps all day long without a worry. And I am sure that the lollipop update is just around the corner so what’s the big deal people? Let’s not create a ruckus here.
