You can just add a line to your build.prop to change your lcd density so it sticks on reboot:

ro.sf.lcd_density=140

My eyes are old, I prefer the stock 160!!

You can also use blade buddy and Root Tools, though later seems to bring up 190 as the default. I've made him aware so may be fixed
