Leadked Froyo 2.2 Charging takes forrrreeevveeerrr

Anyone who installed new froyo leak notice that charging takes way long now.


Also i havent noticed any real increase in battery. just take hours to charge.

too be completely honesty i think my battery life has worsened. used to take me bout an hr to charge to 100 %. now it takes between 4 and 5 hours.

Anyways, I charge mine overnight so it's not a big deal to me. Although I'd expect it to get resolved.

well it takes forever to charge now and when it is charged the battery drains quicker than it used to.

I plug mine in at night before I go to bed. I don't care how long it takes so long as it's done before I get up.

I did notice the increase in charging time, but my life on a charge is noticeably better when charging while powered on. Getting about 8 hours on the charge, which i would only get with 2.1 when bump charging or charging with the phone powered off.

I see better battery life with froyo and yeah I just noticed yesterday that it takes a stupid amount of time to recharge. Thankfully I just got my 1800 battery with a separate charger to charge outside the phone...

To all of you having these battery life problems..... Get the external charger.

I'm running the leaked froyo rooted. And have seen an increase in battery life since the update. But I charge one battery out of the phone overnight in the external charger. This single thing has made a world of difference.

Also removed all the crapware that htc and verizon put on the phone that stay running in the background..... This also greatly helped my battery life. I get around 16 to 20 hours on one external charge wih light to moderate use. Using htc 1500 mAh battery. My 1750 seidio gets about the same or a little more. I also use advanced task MANAGER, to kill anything I run, right when I'm done using it.

I have noticed a HUGE increase in battery life since my new radio flash and leaked froyo update. As far as charging goes I charge it every night while I sleep so I'm not sure how long it takes but they have for sure fixed the problem where it losses the first 10% in a matter of min. I can pull my phone off the charger and 3 hours later it will be down to 93%, before it would probably be in the 70's.

went to skyraider rom and now charging time is back to normal and i have muuuuch increased battery life.

I do the same (without ATK) and see the same results battery life is great with an external charger

This is exactly what happened with mine, takes forever to charge and drains faster than before.
