To my surprise, I discovered that my Leagoo T5C would let me take a picture that it would use to unlock my phone as a measure of facial recognition.
It did work for a while, until I realized it was picky, and that it was taking me longer to unlock the phone than with the fingerprint reader, so I kind of forgot about it.
Thing is, I wanted to add a new picture (with sunglasses on), just in case, so I went back to the Smart Lock page in the Security menu, and found the page to be blank.
I waited several minutes for it to populate, just in case, no go. I have full connectivity, so it's not a network issue.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I just gave it another try, and this time, the whole menu was there. Is facial recognition a common feature in Nougat, or is it offered on a per-brand basis?
