I am new to the S10+, and have owned Notes and Pixels over the past few years.

I've read posts about the various ways that S10/S10+ users get notifications using the LEDs around the front-facing camera. There are pros/cons posted over the months for a number of the apps from Holey Light to Good Lock.

Now that these devices have been out on the market and being used, what is the solution that is working for you to get notifications via the LED's around the front camera?

Been using Holey Light since I got my 10+ a couple of weeks ago. Really like it, no problems.

Does this do the same as the LED light stop on and flash or just come on once then go off.

While it would be good to have a notification light, the popular apps that provide this functionality need extensive access to your activities and content.
I think I'll hold off for now.

Thanks for the info though!

Holey Light also admits it sucks battery life.

A simple LED would have been so much better...

"CAN" suck battery, not does. This depends on how you have it set up, and how many things you get notified about.

For grins I turned it back on today. I have no notifications turned on, save for work email (silent this weekend) and texts (I don't text much at all). The clock was showing. And I watched the battery go down about 2% per hour.

I seem to be doing just fine without the blinking LED.
Thanks for the feedback folks!

I've been using LED Me Know, it seems to work the best for me.

AODNotify works well for me. Turns the Always on Display on if there are specified notifications. Not sure if there is any appreciable battery drain with it but haven't noticed a problem.
