I just bought the droid raza Maxx HD on saturday, I love it so far. How do i turn on the LED notification light? I tried to google it but didn't find anything. I read that people use Light Flow Lite. I dl it and that only works half the time. let me know what I am doing wrong or if there is a better app for the notification light.

LightFlow is pretty much the best one.

What I do is disable the LED in each individual App itself then enable it only in LightFlow.
The fact that both are trying to blink the LED might be causing the inconsistencies you're experiencing.

Personally I have no problems with it.

Me too.

I had problems when I first got my phone though too. Did a factory reset, and added my accounts myself, and it seemed to work fine then.

You can also try Notification Light Widget in the Playstore. Made by Motorola to address the problem some users are having.

There's a update out to fix it, you may need to call vzw and they can push it to you. This is what I've seen at my store.

How do you disable the LED in each App? Like in Email, or SMS, or do mean add on apps? My Lightflow is working on my Motorola Electrify M, but if I get an SMS (blue) and an email (orange), for example, both are set to "fast" but I get something like 9 blue blinks, alternating with 9 or so orange blinks. How do I get them to flash sequentially? Thanks.

Any thoughts on why the lights are not alternating, but I'm getting several of one color, then the other?

I already have the widget, that doesn't help much. I am going to call Verizon and see what they say.

Loveeeee it

This is the only personalized LED app u could find that works for my phone (RAZR Maxx HD) all the time with no glitches. I absolutely love it!

---------------
I don't have this app, but I was looking into getting a notification app and this jumped out at me.

Thank you for (partly) restoring my sanity! I love Lightflow, but the dang notification light wouldn't turn off, so had to keep manually resetting it. Finally dropped the $2 and bought the full version so that I could get the VM notification, too (how dumb is that, to leave that out?), hoping that would fix it, but no. Kept playing with settings to no avail. Once I downloaded that notification app from VZW, all is well.

Light flow works perfectly if settings are correct. Email the dev if you have a problem. He is very helpful. I don't know if u noticed but there is also a lightflow widget that shuts off notifications with one push.

I had a working LED notification light (without the widget) but I noticed it's not working anymore so I tried the Motorola light widget but it's still not working. What do I do to get the light working again?

TTT Looking for a little more feedback here. The wife's Maxx HD Notification Light will not blink when she receives an Email on her Comcast account (Used to - Mine does) She downloaded the Xfinity app to try to fix with no success. The LED will blink for her facebook so we know the light will work. Any suggestions?

+1 for Light Flow. It's totally cool and will make the flashing light meaningful.

You can select which apps will activate the light, what color it will be, how fast it will flash, times to have the light OFF (night?), how long it will keep flashing or turn off, and more. It's fantastic. I know by the light if I've gotten a text message, email, MMS, incoming call, missed call, voice mail, calendar notification and if there's an update from the Play Store. There are more apps than this that you can tap into the light notification ... and it's GREAT!
