LED Notification Light

Is it just me , but I find the LED Notification light very difficult to see, in fact it almost useless, Huawei suggest a 3rd Party App may help improve it, so I'm looking for some suggestions, thanks.

I only noticed it had once I hear it flashing in the bedroom with the lights of I don't know how an app could change this?

Exactly... The nofication light is very little & tiny when I compared to my previous oneplus one & bb q10
