Are there LED indicators on this phone? I see two area at the top of this phone which one looks like it could be an LED but I have never seen it work???

There are no LED's on the Captivate.

There's an app in the market called NoLED. It will display notifications on the screen if you get a mail, etc. But, I've found that it does take a bit of your battery life because the screen is running when a notification goes off.

Thank you...I didn't think so but I was just curious about those two clear spots on top of this phone.. Maybe light sensors?

One is a proximity sensor the other is probably some sort of ambient light sensor.
