Wow! Must be a bunch of youngsters there who were totally blind to the symbolism of the old logo!

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't even notice. Maybe it's because it was all done-up in rainbow colors. Now that you bring it to my attention, though...I'm amazed it ever got approved. To me it looks like they were going for the 'pinwheel' look that Google uses for their Photos app, but they clearly didn't think it through.

Yeah, the colors were distracting, but once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. I'm glad they changed it, and it's nice to at least feel listened to!

Maybe youngsters, or they were just honestly not thinking about it. It's triangles and squares. Not awful design, but not thoroughly considered, either!

Well, it DOES look like a swastika. Bad PR is bad PR for a company trying to make inroads.

That's true. It's amazing how some companies just address and move on and some get stuck on some things. So far, I'm liking what I'm seeing out of LeEco (even though it's just a little so far!)

I'm using it as my daily driver now, and have been happily for about 2 weeks. I took the launcher off to force myself to get used to their take on Android. It's not as bad, and they fixed a couple things which I was annoyed by in the multi tasking view.

It's a fine daily driver if you're not going to be offended by the photography, and it's a super solid backup device at $150
