Legendary rom RC 2.1 battery drain

so about a week ago i flashed legendary rom RC 2.1 from stock (rooted) froyo, and now i have terrible battery drain. My battery goes from full to about 10% in about 2 hours with airplane mode on. When i check my battery stats, "android system" is always using up the most percentage of the power. I did a short test where i put the screen on with no timeout and let it sit at max brightness for 20 minutes, and checked the statistics, and my display was using up 6% of that power, and android system was like 93%. Does anyone else know what this could be or seen anything similar?

You must have a bad flash. Im running (as an example) RandomRom Thunderhawk 3.3 and im at 21 hours on with 1.5 hours screen and 200+ texts- 56 percent remains. I would redownload the rom (or another if you choose, though I hear Legendary is a very good rom), verify md5sums (if possible, to make sure you got a good download), go into recovery, wipe data/factory reset 4 times, wipe cache 4 times, wipe dalvik cache 4 times, reset battery stats, then install the rom again. That is a bad flash..
