Yes, customer service gave me the same. What until you use your credit card & see a weird charge to your card. Digital river handles the charges.

There's a place on the website to check availability for the trade in deal. I put in my email addy and got the confirmation email with buy now button so I don't think to send them any info. I could buy the phone right now but I don't like choosing s5 as trade in model then sending a note 3. Reps claim it is fine no problem but it goes against common sense.

I'm not going to buy a phone on ebay to exchange because it could come with a scratch or something and might take too long to arrive. That just adds another hassle.
