What do people think about the Lenovo pad that just came out? I haven't had a chance to see one in person but the specs look pretty solid. Its a 10.4 inch with hdmi out, 10 hours of battery life, some useful apps preloaded, and its the only tab with netflix support right now.

The price is right. $499 for 32GB from what I've read. It looks like it could be a bit bulky/heavy though.

The Thinkpad looks like it could be a player as well, probably more so than the Ideapad. With the optional pen (an extra $30) and portfolio case w/ keyboard, its quite enticing. My only concern would be whether or not Lenovo will get these tabs updated quickly. Aside from that, it seems that the Thinkpad has everything that you could possibly want. Thoughts? I'm just really curious to hear what people have to say, as Lenovo seems to be an unknown commodity when it comes to Android, and there isn't much out there on these products/.

Lenovo is a grade A laptop maker especially the ThinkPads. So I expect high quality.

Between the two I also admit to being a bit more impressed with the ThinkPad one. It has impressive specs and lots of quality preloaded stuff. Plus they are adding support options (full warranties that include breakage) and services (free cloud storage) that go above and beyond. It also looks to have the usual impressive ThinkPad build quality.

You can learn more from Lenovo's site, and the tabs should be here in about three weeks. I am waiting for them to appear before making any decisions, as it looks for now that these may be "the tabs you were waiting for".

The "thickness" on the IdeaPad seems to be a bit of an optical illusion caused by the two color bottom. And the ThinkPad looks decently thin (and has full size ports to boot).

Based on spcs, it's not so bad. But I don't think the price is attractive. I would like to pick up ipad2 or Transformer rather than this tablet.

I am impressed by the specs on this tablet, along with preloaded apps and Netflix capabilities, but am also concerned about the form factor/bulkiness of this tablet. I am wondering if anyone knows of any retailers that will be carrying the Ideapad, as I would like to see/handle one before purchase. Looks like they are on sale now at the website for $499, regular price $599.
