I see only the time plus two notification icons on left side of notification bar.
If there are more than two notifications then the second icon will be followed by a dot,
and I have to pull down the notification bar to see all notifications.

Same issue as https://forums.androidcentral.com/s...6704-notification-bar-small.html#post_6703069
but this menu option is not available on my Lenovo M10.
In fact I cannot find any setting under Notifications that would change this.

I never had this issue with any of my phones, now already two times with a tablet which has plenty more space in the notif bar than a phone.
I don't understand why the number of shown notifications is restricted.

I moved this from the Lenovo Android Phones forum to the General Help forum. Your device is a tablet, and although there is a Lenovo Android Tablet forum, it's actually in the Archived Forums section, so probably wouldn't get as much traffic.

I have a Lenovo Tab M8 FHD, and can't remember if that's what happens on it as well (currently I only have 2 notifications in the status bar, so I can't tell). I'll wait for more notifications and get back to you.

But this is probably a limitation of older Android versions not being truly designed to adapt to tablets, since Google had abandoned tablets for a while. Having the overflow dot appear with more than 2 notifications is a consequence of trying to accommodate for a phone notch or selfie camera punchhole (which, of course, our tablets don't have). Now that they're focusing again on this form factor starting with Android 12L, the status bar can show more notification icons. My Galaxy Tab A7 lite running Android 13 is currently showing 4 notification icons without overflow.

EDIT: I just realized that your M10 Plus came with Android 12 -- but is it Android 12L? Can you check your About Tablet menu in the system settings and see what's listed there? If it's not 12L, then hopefully you can wait until Q2 of this year, when Android 13 is supposed to come: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht501098-android-upgrade-matrix

Here's a comparison my Lenovo Tab M8 FHD (running Android 10) and Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 lite (running Android 13):

Lenovo -- overflow dot appears after 4 notification icons

Samsung -- no overflow dot

For me, at least, it most likely has to do with the Lenovo not having Android 12L or above. I'll be curious to see if your Lenovo is on 12 or 12L. Not sure why you're seeing the overflow dot after only 2 notifications, and not 4 -- can you show a screenshot? http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html
