What is going on with AC these days? It's been several months since I've read the news here. Every article is tiny now & equally uninformative compared to the AC of old.

I see a bunch of new "author" names ... and sorry but less quality in the articles, too. What the frick is going on around here?

So disappointing.

Actually, I think our newsroom is doing a pretty good job covering the news that needs to be covered, while at the same time freeing up the rest of us to go in-depth into phones and software more than we'd been able to in the past.

Can it do better? Sure. Which is why we're constantly working with the newsroom folks to improve things.

I do appreciate your feedback and concern, even if I do find fault in your conclusion. :)

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Phil. Glad you can take a bit of criticism ... even if you can't publicly admit I'm right. /s No really, I hear ya. Maybe 1 thing that could help with the shallow depth of the articles is a bit more author participation (Q&A) in the comments section an hour or 2 after publishing. The shorter articles leave some questions unanswered.

Thank you for improving the comments (response notifications), too.

@TBolt - We hear ya loud and clear. Our editorial team is always working on a story here or there, so it's often hard to participate in the comments (perhaps) as much as we'd like. But good point.

One thing I would suggest to you however, if you EVER have a pressing question you need an answer to, try out our new Question & Answer feature. It's powered by the community, and is... well... pretty cool.
