Let market update apps automatically?

Was wondering if there is any issue with letting app market auto update my apps as updates are made available. I get frequent update notifications and some seem repetitive notifying me every couple days for the same app I just updated. Gets annoying. Any downside to letting it happen automatically? Is it polling all the time? Curious what everyone does.

I normally allow the Market to update apps I use frequently just to make sure I'm running the latest stuff.

[INFO]Regardless of what you choose to do you can always goto Settings-Applications-Manage Apps and find the app of choice and uninstall any recent update if something is going on that you don't like.[/INFO]

[INFO]You can also find the installed app you have set to auto update in the Market on your device and toggle it to off/on at will.[/INFO]

[NOTE]Probably the most frequently updated apps are GMail and Google Maps. These can be updated sometimes once or twice a week at times...[/NOTE]
