Companies need good consumer feedback to improve. This is a problem that has occurred many times and it is definitely an increasing problem with Verizon. Phones are set to be released, but then held up for some unknown reason. They don't let customers know what's going on. And when the finally release the phone it is no longer relevant (esp the Bionic).
This has happened many times with many phones. It is a problem. They need to 1) streamline their release process and 2) better inform their customers. I understand that they don't want to release a product that has problems, and I'm 100% in agreement. That is not the problem. They need to be more agile and communicative on their releases. It wouldn't hurt if they would stopped releasing such an absurd number or phones also.
Let Verizon know how you feel. Be polite, but to the point. They do read these. I got a call back the next day, on a Saturday to discuss the message I sent. They do pay attention when you let them know.
