Let Verizon know how you feel

Companies need good consumer feedback to improve. This is a problem that has occurred many times and it is definitely an increasing problem with Verizon. Phones are set to be released, but then held up for some unknown reason. They don't let customers know what's going on. And when the finally release the phone it is no longer relevant (esp the Bionic).

This has happened many times with many phones. It is a problem. They need to 1) streamline their release process and 2) better inform their customers. I understand that they don't want to release a product that has problems, and I'm 100% in agreement. That is not the problem. They need to be more agile and communicative on their releases. It wouldn't hurt if they would stopped releasing such an absurd number or phones also.

Let Verizon know how you feel. Be polite, but to the point. They do read these. I got a call back the next day, on a Saturday to discuss the message I sent. They do pay attention when you let them know.

Go to verizonwireless. Click "Contact Us" at the top. The click on "View More" under "Get in Touch" at the bottom right. Then enter a selection under "Send an Email".

While I agree that more information from VZW would be nice (appreciated), I'm sad to report that:

1.) They don't care. This phone never had a publicly-advertised release date, so according to only what we are supposed to know, this phone is not late.
2.) This will change nothing going forward. VZW is going to do things the way they want. If they have to stop and answer every question about a pending device now, they'll have to do it on every future launch. And I don't think they want to create a new department for something like this unless you and everyone else is wanting to see our already-high phone bills go up.

I just don't care anymore. I just want VZW to give me the damn phone so I can buy it and not deal with them again for 1-2 years. I just hope the 15th holds.

If a corporation the size of VZW doesn't already have a couple of PR guys who could write a simple release reading:

"Hi all, we're working with Google and Samsung to iron out some final kinks with the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, so a release date hasn't been finalized. Thanks for your patience."

... then I despair. We don't need someone answering questions 24/7, just a single, brief press statement to show that the delays are all above-board and not simply due to them wanting to sell more RAZRs/Rezounds, etc.

Let's face it, they already have some random bod posting FB updates several times a day, with sales, contests, ads, offers, coupons, app suggestions. Updates where approximately 15% of the respondents actually care about the subject matter and the remaining 85% are simply posting "NEXUS NEXUS NEXUS". They could stop wasting that guy's time posting updates nobody cares about and have him draft a statement about the GN.

+1

They do read those emails. I have used the email form twice before and got responses and my renewal date moved up by months.

I'm writing to let you know how disappointed I am in the (lack of a) launch of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It was announced on October a18th (Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Ice Cream Sandwich announced - YouTube), and it's been available in Europe and globally for weeks now. I realize their could be bugs causing the delay, but the silence is deafening. I don't think Verizon has to commit to a date (I'm a software engineer so I know 'it will be done when it's done'), but some feedback to the enthusiastic customers is appropriate. At this point we are left only to speculate on the "delay", and you know when customers speculate, that is never good. If AT&T comes out with a World Phone version shortly after Verizon finally launches their LTE version, I will strongly consider the World Phone option. It's taken so long at this point that I can't imagine there will be too much of a difference in release dates.

A little feedback would be appreciated.

I don't know why everyone is bent out of shape about this. There was never a date officially released by Verizon, and everything you've seen about this date or that date, are mostly their intended dates of release, and happens. When issues come up, they bump the date back, which is probably what happened here. Waiting another week, or even another couple weeks isn't going to cause the world to stop rotating.

Galaxy Nexus Now!!!

Let's let Verizon know we want our Galaxy Nexus Now by adding the #GALAXYNEXUSNOW hashtag to our tweets. Spread the word!

Re: Galaxy Nexus Now!!!

because that will do anything. They said end of year, you bought into rumors. Damn people its just a pjone.

We are bent out of shape due to the fact it was announced in October for a November release. There is no reason VzW couldn't get this device out yet or at least posted something about the device.

Ugh, I don't know what I'm more upset about -the fact that I actually got excited about this post title, hoping there would be good news in it -or the fact that this post is completely useless.

I don't recall any official press release with a date listed on it. Hearsay doesn't mean squat.

Regardless of an official date being announced the wait from announcement to launch is just terrible. iPhones launch 2 weeks after they're announced. This thing has launched everywhere else but the US and we are a couple of weeks off from x-mas. It's ty and there's nothing wrong with Letting Verizon know we think so.

this was merged...it was the thread that said "Galaxy Nexus Now!" I commented on and got excited about. sigh...

Yea they sure merged it fast. I was like wow where did that thread go?
The mods are being kept busy in here. lol

Sorry man. I was sitting here stewing about no release date and decided maybe we could let Verizon know how we feel. Guess I should have thought about the titles affect on others feeling the same way.

I didn't say anything about the rumored launch date. I'm complaining because its been long enough already and I want to be a ing child and about it :D I mean other countries have theirs, why not us?

Damn it VERIZON are we there yet?!!
