???? if you phone has problems with connectivity get ANOTHER ONE. I already went thru this issue. I had a phone for about 90 days that sucked at connectivity. My current bionic never loses 4G and it's been 12 days. it's up 24/7. doesn't even go down to 3G.

I hadthe same experience as 1812Dave. My first Bionic had lots of connection problems, but its replacement never drops the signal.

Lol this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. CNN sucks first off, and secondly... yeah its a big conspiracy! They are out to screw us! They must have a monkey in each tower that just randomly flips the 4G switch on and off. LOL

I have a bionic, love it. No issues. No complaints.


Dude... just go get a new phone and stop whining ...life could get MUCH worse than 4G cutting out here and there.

The 5.9.901 update fixed mine but it isn't available unless you want to grab it and manually update.

If you want something investigated, why not push for unlocked phones? Why can't I purchase a phone and it be completely mine? If I buy a PC I can do whatever I want with it - why the locks and encryptions?

Funny thing is I just got on here to rage about the connectivity issue... I saw this post then thought ehh lets see about getting a another phone. Verizon says it's a known issue with the Bionic and that mid-Jan we should expect another update to help fix it and until after then they can't replace the phone.

Edit: I'm downloading and trying http://www.droid-life.com/2011/12/20...-9-901-update/ I'll let you know if it helps me at all. I live work and play in 4G only have it about 1/2 the time so here's to hoping!
