Help! Got my Note 5 on sunday. Screen protector came in the mail today and it's horrible.... So I hopped on the google machine, and see that there is issues or "halo" with these screens having a slight curve to them near the edges...not to mention I am not use to these thick type protectors. What I'm hoping is that someone can give me an idea of which direction to go next (links would be nice too if you have them!). Also, what is the benefit or disadvantage to having these super thick plastic ones?

Thanks!

I use a ZAGG Clear HD Tempered Glass protector. Tempered glass is the way to go. They're more pricey but feels like you don't have a protector because they're glass and if you have a drop that would crack your screen most times it will break the protector and leave the actual screen perfect. Plus ZAGG gives lifetime replacements so for $40 you get an amazing protector and can order a newer one whenever to keep it looking fresh.

Tempered glass is the way to go if you can accept that it doesn't cover the edge of the scree. If you are using a case, you don't want it to get to the edge anyways. This is the one I use with no halo effect and cheap.

Galaxy Note 5 Screen Protector: Stalion® Shield TEMPERED LIQUID GLASS Armor Guard for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 - ShatterProof Ballistic Gorilla Glass [Retail Packaging](1-Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0141GGNF...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4820565

Plastic flexible film type tend to have a drag effect when you slide across it, have no impact protection and sometimes have a orange peel effect

I 2nd the zagg tempered glass. Zero halo and the fit is perfect. Stay away from the brand att sells, they have horrible fitment and get smudged up very easily. Remember you get what yo u pay for when it comes to a screen protector..

Decided to try a tempered glass. Got a Zagg HD Glass and Halo Effect on the left side all down the phone. It's centered perfectly. Best Buy here in Canada won't replace it. Maybe I'll contact Zagg?
