LG audiophile phone running Android One

Would they consider releasing one? I'd like to see them bring one to the table... However I'm not sure how much their DAC features and tuning is dependent on their UX customizations. So maybe it's wishful thinking.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea to me! More than anything else it's the sound that LG gets right. Releasing it in a more affordable device makes sense to me.

Affordable is cool and all. I would be more looking for the os updates and features for 2 years. Assuming they got them released in a timely fashion. That coupled with a well tuned DAC would be worth it.

Originally released for NA, but only marketed in Canada the G7 One has been around for a year now. I missed it due to that.
I finally caught wind of it and will be able to get my hands on one.

I have a V50 now. It's interesting. Not sold on the "dual screen" yet, but we will see. I LOVE the screen quality, and of course that DaC, but the UI, UGH!!!!!! lol

It's unfortunate how Google has let Android One essentially wither away: https://www.computerworld.com/article/3613511/android-one.html. But you never know, they might suddenly revive it after another few years. It's impossible to predict Google's whims sometimes.
